Dr. Angelo Colavita is board certified and licensed to practice chiropractic in New Jersey and New York. He has been in private practice since 1998 and currently practices in Clifton, New Jersey.

Dr. Colavita is an adjunct professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He is an adjunct professor at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Colavita is an adjunct professor at Life College West in Hayward, California. Dr. Colavita teaches biannually at the Advanced Atlas orthogonal Conference in Atlanta, Georgia and annually at the Montreal Advanced Atlas Orthogonal. Conference, the Washington State Advanced Atlas Orthogonal Conference, as well as the California Advanced Atlas Orthogonal Conference.

Dr. Colavita was the largest contributing researcher of the published article, “Resolutions of Cervical Complications Secondary to Motor Vehicle Accidents by the Application of Stereotactic Cervical Alignment (SCALE) Methods: Statistical Review of 54 Patients” in the Journal of Whiplash & Related Disorders, Vol. 5(1) 2006.
Is a contributing author to the Atlas Orthogonal Technique Text, third edition. Has written and produced educational booklets that are used by doctors throughout the country.
The author of the published article, “Craniocervical Misalignment Masquerading as Facial Pain: Options for Diagnosis and Management” in the Cranio: Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice Vol.38 No. 6 2020
Notable Lectures
Dr. Colavita lectures internationally and throughout the United States on the Cranio Cervical Junction and Atlas Orthogonal Technique.
He has lectured for the International Chiropractic Association Upper Cervical Diplomat Program multiple times.
